Structural Bodywork Weekend Seminar (15 ceu). Dates: March 10-11, 2012. Sat. and Sun.~ 9:00-5:00. Location: Portland, OR. Cost: $300.
Incorporating the underlying principles and techniques used in Structural Integration, this Structural Bodywork Seminar is a hands-on training that teaches the basics of structural assessment and myofascial release. One weekend seminar located in Southeast Portland. Please bring personal massage table or make arrangement with instructor.
Intensive Practitioner Training (Part One~ 75 ceu) Ten days of training/ 14 days lodging. Dates: March 18-March 31, 2012. Location: Yelapa, Mexico. Cost: $3500.
Join us in Yelapa, Mexico for a ten day training on the protocols of Structural Integration. You will spend one day each on the ten session series originally developed by Ida P Rolf in her ten session series. Includes 14 days lodging, some meals, and local sightseeing. Does not include transportation.
Unwinding the Core (25 ceu) Dates: April 19-22, 12. Location: Portland, OR. (Th~Sun. 9-4:30) Cost: $750. May 17-20, 12. Location: Laguna Beach, CA. (Th~Sun. 9-4:30) Cost: $800 This four-day workshop focuses on facilitating the transfer of motion through the body’s vertical center. In this workshop we will shift our working focus from the release and remobilization of the body’s structural components to supporting the transfer of motion through the core. Moving beyond typical compartmentalization of myofascial release, students will work to unwind each other’s core and develop the skills to effectively work with clients in creating integrated flow through the body’s vertical center. Students will explore the body’s primary motion of the maxilla/sphenoid, thoracic/spine and pelvis/sacrum while working to ease rotation and torsion. This class is ideal for students who have a basic working knowledge of myofascial release and wish to infuse motion into their work with clients. Intensive Practitioner Training (160 ceu). Date: August, 2012. Location: Lopez Island, Washington. Cost: $6500. Local lodging options available. A five week, 160 hour intensive for students and practitioners who wish to receive an in-depth training in Dr. Rolf ’s 10 session protocols. A blend of lecture, demonstration and practice four days a week for five consecutive weeks. Students who have completed the Structural Bodywork Seminar will be given a $250. discount towards this class.
