Course Description

Continuing Education Seminars are specifically tailored to practitioners looking for a comprehensive training in structural bodywork and myofascial release. Specific techniques, protocols and clinical applications are covered in each 2 1/2 day seminar segment. Classes are 6-9 pm Friday evenings and 9-5 Saturday and Sunday.

Structural Bodywork, Segment I

October 24-26, 2008 - 17 CEU's

  • Organizational concepts for Structural Bodywork
  • Postural and structural assessment
  • Soft tissue, fascial and myofascial techniques
  • Mobilization of the body’s superficial envelope
 
  • Active and passive movement techniques
  • Protocols for the shoulders and arms
 

Structural Bodywork, Segment II

December 12-14, 2008 - 17 CEU's

  • Postural and structural assessment of the lower body
  • Low back pain management: sacral instability; sciatica
  • Balancing of the pelvic girdle
  • Biomechanical considerations and soft tissue balancing of the foot, ankle and knee

Structural Bodywork, Segment III

January 9-11 , 2009 - 17 CEU's

  • Assessment and soft tissue manipulation of the head and cranial base
  • Diaphragmatic mobilization and balance
  • Intrinsic organization and myofascial linkage
  • Soft tissue and the vital force

         This is a single training delivered over three weekends.

Cost of the full training is $1,050.
