Course Description:
This five- week intensive seminar is designed for students who wish to receive an in-depth training in Dr. Rolf's 10-session structural integration series. It is a blend of lecture, demonstration, and extensive hands-on practice. You will observe, receive, and practice each of the 10 different sessions a total of five times. In addition to giving and receiving your own 10-session series, you will take 2 class models through their 10-session series in a supervised clinical setting. The focus is on defining and practicing each session until you are comfortable with the sequence.
You will learn the organization logic of the "recipe" as well as separate guidelines for each session. You are taught to systematically mobilize and rebalance the body's physical components around a vertical line. Additionally you will learn to perceive movement obstruction and structural organization within and through both the extrinsic and intrinsic layers of muscle and connective tissue.
